ID needed for hairy mushroom things....?

Anyone know what these critters are? Some kind of hairy mushroom guys?

They look like Zoonthids to me.

So, do these guys need to be fed meaty things, stuff besides light? I have read that some of the large zos need a decent amount of particulate food.

They will usually get enough to eat when you feed your tank. You can spot feed them if you like. They'll spread faster.

I agree...if you feed your tank meaty foods like a mush, you will see that they close over the food as they feed, and grow fast.
