When I turn the pumps off for feeding these little things come out to play! They stay towards the top of the tank and I have no idea what they are. Haven't added anything new recently but they just started coming out. Any help would be great! Will they hurt my coral?

Thnx!! :)

They look like they could be hydroids in the "jellyfish" stage. Google "hydroids stages" and you can compare to the pics.

I'd have to agree with Faye. I've seen a few in my tank did some research and couldn't really find any concrete evidence that they are bad for the tank. Anyone have any info I'm sure the op would appreciate the advice and so would I. :)

how cute they r like transparent mushrooms. But yeh they r Jelly fish Hydroids!!

Thanks! I'll have to do some research to see what I need to do about it. They are fun to watch I just hope they aren't 'pests' that hurt my corals..
