Got a couple of ID's for ya guys...

First off is a very pretty purple growth that popped up next to the rock that one of my sets of shrooms came on. It is growing at a pretty good pace. I could not get a closer pic... I need a zoom digital for Christmas. :)

Second would be my little lime green worm friend that decided to rove around on the glass tonight. Some facts about wormy:

1. Limish green.
2. kinda flat.
3. Has a nice white tuft of something on it's head, like a... uh.. like a burr.

AAAAND since everyone at AA has been extremely generous, especially reefunner69 with his quiz kudos, I will offer a 250 kudo bounty, per ID, on these critters.

I have the same purple stuff... I have always assumed it was a sponge.. The worm is odd.. no idea there..

Ah so Daniel - son...

I pushed on a "branch" of the stuff and it was stiff enough that it made the entire growth move. As the geniculate type of coralline was described.

I think you're right.....

I did a search for Pterocladia, Microcladia and Rhodophyta (kinds of geniculate coralline algae) and found some pics that match, like this one of microcladia that was pretty close:

250 kudos to you sir thanks for the hot tip!

Oh and I am going to browse for flatworms with at that place too. TY
