Can someone id this please, It came with the tank and I would like to get more

That is green star polyps.dont get more give it a few weeks and they will spread like wildfire.

So is it bad? I thought it was like a grass or some type?

Its not bad its very pretty i glue it to back wall and let it grow it will cover back glass and move in the flow from powerheads.dont put it with your main rockwork cause it will overtake other corals.i love it fast grower and lots of movement.
