Looks like a lobophyllia to me - a type of "open brain coral".

I agree with Kurt. They don't grow very fast at all.

It should be on the sand bed also, moderate light coral. when it is happy the fleshy part will inflate.

oh... is it ok to leave up there for now because i have cyano bacteria if you saw my other thread....... and the things like shells on the sand totally got took over so i at least wanna wait until thats gone. and its not on the top its in the middle of the tank would it be ok to keep it there permanetly?

yeah i went to a few of its profile pages and it said placement any where so i think it'll be good.
