That's relatively new.. My back glass was covered with these around the same time.. They are mostly under either my lr now.. Harmless filter feeders

Found more in the back of the tank.. seem to spreading pretty fast

They reproduce pretty quick.. I would periodically scrape them off the back of my tank cause they were kind of ugly to look at... Literally my whole back glass was covered with them. My wrasse liked to pick at them as well

they are not a bad thing to have, and you may like the look.. My back glass is painted black so they kind of looked like stars on it.. I just didn't like it.. They will go away after a while though.. Just part of setting up a tank
