Interesting algae ID

[Nu-Nu the eel]

Anyone know? I thought it looked like macro algae while i was in the water today so i grabbed a bit. Anyone know the name? Also, would it do well in a fuge you think? Thanks

Awesome thats exactly what it looks like and it does feel rubbery. Would it benefit the tank if i put it in a fuge if i ever get one?
