Interesting starfish?

Found this after moving my tank. Wondering if anyone has any ideas what type of star this might be?

how big is it? if its small it may be an asterina, but from the coloring i don't know, asterinas are usually white

No I've got lots of asternias. This guys about the size of a half dollar or gold ball.

it eats coral so pull him out.

i'm not sure that it eats coral. i would watch it before killing it because of hearsay.
you could also put it in the sump if you are nervous about it. the good thing about bad stars is they are easy to catch.

ya i have had those stars get up to a half a golf ball in size
