Is there such a thing as a Filter Shrimp ? If so please could I have some info etc ...

Suitable for my 10 gal?

Only in FW AFAIK, young shrimp like artemia are filter feeding but that's not what your looking for. I would however not recommend filter feeding species of any kind for such a small tank. You would most likely end up fouling water quality in an atempt to keep them properly fed.

Thanx Steve, I was just curious because I saw an advert of some one in my area giving a one away for free and it said it was for a marine tank so maybe he/she means another type lol.

Same answer really. Porcelains are able to consume small solid foods but it's not always the best situation long term. 50/50 chance of success with anything like that.

If you want something really interesting for a small tank I would suggest http://www.divegallery.com/shrimp_ambonian.htm
