is this a sponge colony?

I have these in Dark purple, light purple and pink. They are in separate areas on the LR. They seem to have a small film over the top of the group, but with a centralized vent. Hope this pic is big enough.

It's hard to tell from the picture, but it looks like Colonial Tunicates.

They appear in several different color morphs, but here are a couple pictures:
