Little White Crawlers

I see on my glass, little white things crawling around. They are small but from what i can make out, they have many legs and a tail. What are these things?

well, small is a pretty relative term. if you're talking tip of a pencil small, then these are likely any variety of copepods and are good for your tank. If by "small" you mean bigger than the tip of a pencil, we'll need a little more information, and a picture if you've got one.

(and i'm going to shift this topic to the Identification forum)

Sounds like small hydroid jellies. *http://www.rshimek.com/odd_critters.htm#Dots With Legs - Tiny Hydroid Jellyfish That Walk Around Tanks*

Well it won't link, copy and paste everything between the *'s and it should take you to the right spot.
