long red thing - Aquarium Advice

i noticed a long red thing on my rock yesterday and its grown over night, i thought it was some sort of worm but its branching of in different directions and not moving mobiley only growing longer and in diferent directions.

ill try but i will be a while( no digital) and it will be a hard shot too get as its in the back corner.

foraminiferans? sounds like what i got in my tank and i think that what they are

they dont look like them, i have those white ones in my tank but these look different almost like a thin vane

Does it stick up off the rock or look like it is kind of inside the rock. I had the same thing if it is growing along the rock instead of sticking up off of it. I never did figure out what it was.

its growing along the rock, i guess it will be one of the other mysteries growing in the tank
