I was looking in the tank the other night and found this awesome looking little nudibranch. He has had to be living in there for a while since I havent added any rock lately.

Not the greatest pics...

Anyone think this guy is bad???

thats pretty cool looking, do you know what kind it is. and sorry dont now if its safe, but nice find

Wow!
He's awsome looking. Congratulations on your cool find!
Sorry, I don't have any idea if he is bad or good.

He eats algae and hasn't killed anything, I'd assume he's safe.

The first picture is nice. Nice find, btw.

Wow, he is *gorgeous*! Why can't we find anything neat like that in our live rock?

I found out that they eat bryozoans.

Thanks all for liking my new little buddy, that I will probably never see again... :(

My book does not have the exact pic of your nudi but it looks like it belongs in the Chromodoris spp., chromodorid sea slugs. the book says predators that need live food, very toxic, short lived and when they die the can poison everything in the tank.
It is very nice but if it was my tank and I could not get a positive ID it would be history..
