Lots of brownish worm things on a rope...

I've noticed that I have a bunch of little worm looking creatures. The bottom resembles a rope that has been wound up. They are brown and seem to have some kind of webs strung to each of them. In the second pic, you can see the web if you look really closely.

These are Vermetid gastropods. They are harmless detrivores. They send out those mucus traps to gather detrius from the rocks, etc.
