Mini Star like critter Hitch Hiked on Hammer Coral (Image) - Aquarium Advice

This little guy hitched on a Hammer Coral I recently picked up.

At first I thought it was debry with a unique shape but it's moved from the bottom of the branch to the top.

It looks like a baby star fish, or I am thinking some sort of worm, or snail.
it's has a white star border and a black star inside.

Can Anyone Help Me with an [acronym:e1f36df8f1="Identify"]ID[/acronym:e1f36df8f1]?
is this a good guy or a bad guy?

Also that they multiply rapidly.

For those who have had them

What was your experience with them?
did you yank them or leave them?

I have them and they have not caused any problems. I got mine as hitchhikers on some live rock I bought from a friend who had the rock in his established reef tank . I have at least 50-100 of them and they don't seem to do much. You can see them out on the rocks and glass at night.
