I have a pic, but it's still on my camera at home.

I'll describe it as best as I can.

It looks like a VERY VERY small starfish, with just little nubs for legs.
Total diameter, about the same as a pencil eraser.

Color: Whitish, with pink, and a spattering of blue on the "top" of it.

I've not seen it "MOVE", but it has moved from rock to rock.

Anyone have any ideas?

My first thought would be an Asterina sp if just whitish but with the colors you describe it sounds more like a Linckia multifora.

Looked that one up on google images. Did not look quite the same.

Here's a pic of what I have.

Looks like a type of cushion star. Not exactly sure on the species...

Thank you Steve... I looked at some google images, and apparently, that's what he/she is.

It's sooooo tiny tho.. Will it grow up any? Some of the ones on google images were almost as big as the little kids holding them.

Thanks a ton. ;-)

They are not the greatest survivors in captive care. Most being carnivors will not be suitable for reef aquaria and in an FO or FOWLR set up, they quickly starve. You can try to target feed it small sized meaty fair to see if it helps. It will be 50/50 if it does well, though not any fault of your's if it doesn't.

As far as the size, many as you mentioned get quite monsterous. I would expect it to get at least as big as an adults open hand if it adapts.

Cheers
Steve
