Mysterious Orange Goo

I would like to know so hopefully youre right and someone will know for sure.
I really really try to know everything that is going on in my tank and this one has me completely stumped. I'll try to keep it segregated so it doesn't spread to any other rocks.

I'm not sure either, but the fact that it's building tubes would make me think it's a sponge or tunicate.
Sponge can be quite strong given enough surface area to attach to.

It kind of looks like a fungus that attacks coral
