Not quite as good this week, 3 out of 5 though is pretty good. The fish in question is Amblygobius rainfordi. It is fairly sad these fish are even imported, but they are becoming more and more available in the trade. This fish is actually a hair algae eating fish, they are commonly sold as sandsifters (to those not running DSB's), but unfortunately they tend to starve and do poorly in an aquarium that doesn't have a hair algae problem . I strongly urge you, do not support the importation of this fish, do not purchase one and urge your fellow hobbyests not to purchase them. These fish are best left to the person that can care for them best, Mother Nature.
