Need help to id fish

I have had this fish for a year or so and have looked on the Internet to no success on finding the I'd of the fish. He came in the tank when I bought it the guy didn't know what he was either. He was about 4-5 inches when I got him now he is about 8-10 he has a tiny blue line on the end of his tail as well as his bottom fin. He is a pig too lol thanks again.

Def looks like a tang, and it's BEAUTIFUL!

There a number of similar-looking brown Acanthurus, but my guess is a young Acanthurus dussumieri. If so, I've kept this species a number of times (juveniles are common in late summer/autumn in the Sydney area). Nice enough fish, but they do get a bit on the large size.

By large, I mean around 20 inches.
