Today baught a 4 inch. zoo. rock, and found 10 hermit crabs (red leg)
,1 hairy crab which half inch and this guy. Looks like a zebra lol, Saw it stucked inside the little cave of the rock and not moving, then i used a stick to touch its shell, and it retract itself.Now after 20mins i finally took it out, it looks like abolone from bottom so i would say some kinda snail?
But I wish to know if this guy is reef safe or not?I put all hermit in my main display and the rest in my refugium.

Just wondering could it be chiton?
if so then this guy is kinda crazy with clear white and black on the shell. LOL

EDIT: After checking on info of chiton i am about 90% sure this guy is a 1 and half inch chiton, is this size a big one or just normal?

I agree it is a chiton and the size sounds normal to me.
