Ok so I am setting up a nano reef and just went to my lfs and got a couple live rocks to seed my base rock and found this little guy. This it my first attempt at saltwater and I'm worried that I already have an aptasia or something. I'm actually fully expecting it to die since I just started the cycle today, but if you guys could let me know for sure what it is that would be great :)

Oops I didn't upload a picture.

Definitely aiptasia. Will definitely survive the cycle lol. Honestly it's not as apocalyptic as many ppl make it out to be. Just get some joes juice or aiptasia x and kill it.

Aw that's kinda sad to hear, I thought it was kinda cool to have something alive and moving lol. Here are a couple other pictures of the rock if anything else sticks out at you

I've heard you can use lemon juice on them, does that work or is he too far in the rock?
And how fast do they spread, would it be ok until next Wednesday?

The sooner to kill It the better.

I'm pretty sure I killed it, I injected it with venager and haven't seen it since, but how long will it take to reappear if it isn't dead?
