Hi! I just bought a piece of life rock. it came with at least 4 such anemones! all quite small about 1cm to 2 cm across!

Are they okie to keep? they look rather nice to me as the tip gives a nice greenish glow when i switch to blue light!

I have a Red Anemone with no real name, can help me to identify it?

Thanks!!

I have the same exact thing (green one) that came in on a star polyp rock. It's EXTREMELY durable, and has split into 2 new animals over the last month. I'm pretty sure it is an anemone, because they do uproot and change locations on the rock, to get as close to the light and water flow as they can. The trio is usually touching, or sticks close together. For reference to anyone else who might be able to ID, they're the size of a medium-large polyp.

EDIT: Looks like the green ones at least are Majano Anemonias, a pest anemone only because they multiply quickly. Joes juice or injecting boiling water will apparently kill them.

The bottom pic looks like a rose bubble tip. The top one kinda looks like a bubble tip as well but I'm not sure.

Hi guys! thanks for the ID!!

I thought they were pest too! that's explains why there are at least 4 of such small anemones together on 1 small piece of liferock!!

Update- I removed my three Majanos last night after reading up on them.

I just used tweezers and tugged them off by their base. One broke apart, but I finally got a good grip on the stump and it came off cleanly. We'll see if they grow back.
