New rock - not sure what these are
There are 3 of these on this rock - this is the biggest one, with the longest "stalk":

They do look like the Aiptasia's I found on the hitchhiker FAQ - the stripes/bands around the tendrils are different though...

...and out comes the rock...
Any chance they'd die during the initial cycle (I'm about a week into it)? Its a small rock fragment I picked up for no real reason. Didn't see those on there until it was in my tank (LFS isn't well lit).

A total of 6 or 7 of these things popped out after the rock had been in the tank for an hour.
I just pitched it. Too small to be worth all this trouble.
