Im pretty sure this is good but can someone just reassure me?
Meaning the brown algae on the sand...

Now I'm starting to see algae growing on the glass.

Its diatoms I think, it is natural and will eventually go away.

How old is your tank? It does look like diatoms and should go away on their own. Usually only happens in newer tanks but it is possible on older ones too, just not very common.
