It could be a Red Footed Conch, kinda need to see the shell. Does the shell have black and red/brownish stripes?

I think Tulip Snail is the winner based on this:
http://www.whitney.ufl.edu/species/tulip.htm Mine looks exactly like that except much, much smaller. Never seen one doing anything bad, but I don't watch the tank 24 hours a day. Of course it's Fluff that guesses it! |

LOL! That is a huge snail! I have bumble bee snails, but haven't seen them munch anything, but I definitely have a lot fewer snails!
