Looks to be some sort of palythoa coral. Related to zoas

Didn't think of that, could be. Come to think of it palys usually look less translucent than majano.

If it is Majano, then yes I would get it out of there quickly. It's like aiptasia, a pest anemone.

What could I use to get rid of it? I do have a small outbreak of aiptasia also. Is it something I can buy that would eat those critters.

No. I have had great luck injecting them with baking soda and water. Your average alkalinity additive will work perfectly, and won't hurt the tank.
