pretty vague question
I have not added any tank inhabitants to my tank in months. Tank is now 8 mos old and am starting to see some really cool critters coming out of knowhere. have a 1" orange worm that cruises around my [acronym:c61790beab="Live rock"]LR[/acronym:c61790beab], another worm like thing that pokes his head out of a [acronym:c61790beab="Live rock"]LR[/acronym:c61790beab] that has been in the tank for 5 mos. Where do these things come from? Were there dormant eggs or larvae that were in the [acronym:c61790beab="Live sand"]LS[/acronym:c61790beab] or [acronym:c61790beab="Live rock"]LR[/acronym:c61790beab] that finally came to life or what? Will little things like this just continue to pop up forever? This is only a 12gal nano so I have been out of space for a while now. Kinda cool, I get new critters for free. Sorry for the long message about nothing, but it really fascinates me that organisms just seem to appear out of thin air (water).
