Purple Pod

I have seen these pods in alot of places, mostly in the bottom and in the back of the tank, they are about 1/2 an inch long and seem to have 2 main openings, i hope this pic is good enough.
 
BTW, the tunicates and sponges both are good to have. :wink: Not "pods" if they have openings. Looking again, they deffinately look like tunicates, have a few myself, and purple ones too.
 
They dont seem 2 move around, ill keep an eye of em from now on, so is it an animal, plant, do you know what they eat???
 
I agree they are tunicats. They won't move around. They are filter feeders. They will get what they need from what you are feeding the tank.

FWIW mojoe, their usually the sign of a healthy tank :wink: ! and they are an animal.
 
of course gals 2. My infinite apologies if I made it seem like i wasnt grateful to fluff, you cant forget the fluff, always the fluff! :twisted:
