Red bush?
It's a little red bush about the size of a golf ball. It looks like an afro but bright red in color. It's growing pretty slowly. Anyone know what this is?

Could be red hair algae. There are lots of red macros but only a few that I know of that are "afro" like.
Here's an article on control. http://www.aquatouch.com/algae.htm

here's a picture of the red bush. Is it for sure red hair algae? But if it is, shoudl i get rid of all of it as fast as i can so i dones't take over the tank. It's grown so slowly that i find it hard to believe it could be a pest.
