red chunks growing not sure what they are

help I have red chunks growing out of my rocks at first I thought it was red coralline algae but now it is starting to look more like a coral or something. Rock has been in about 3 months and just started adding fish and coral in the last 3 weeks confused please help really just want to know what it is and if it is good or bad because its starting to look kind of cool

Look up nemastoma an see if it looks similar.

looks like it could be sponge , hard to tell with out my glasses but that would be my guess
