I just went to my LFS and bought some turbo snails, and in the tank was a tiny thing that looks like a nudibranch, but is about a half inch in length. I asked the kid if he knew what it was, he said no and asked if I wanted it so I said sure so he threw it in with the turbos(free, my favorite word) any ideas what it could be?

sorry no digi cam, but I found a website called seaslugforum.net and am looking thru that, will get back when I id it

good luck. There's a lot of pages of slugs on that site. I couldn't find mine until i post a picture here and then it was identified. I took the scientific name and then found it.

Ok, I looked through the site and wow there are just too many pics, but it seems very similar to ercolania sp.3 except in color, mine has a yellow rear and a reddish or pinkish front. The site doesn't say what they eat or if they are pests or anything, anybody have any info on them?

does it look anything like this?

bodyshape, not colors
