Snail ID Please before I flush it!

I found this guy in my tank and i dont know what it is.

It's a Nerite, no idea on the exact species though.

I love these snails. Don't flush it. They are one of the few snails out there that eat cyano and they are great algae grazers. Nice find.

I didnt know what it was. I have a lot of zoos and a couple of clams. The last thing i want is something in my tank that will make a meal out of them.

If this sail actually eats cyano, i gotta go fish him out of my fuge and put him back in my tank.

I tried to find you some decent info on these snails but the best I could find was liveaquaria. I have several and they come in alot of different colors and patterns. I have yellow, orange, brown, white and black ones.

Cool. Thanks for the link. I never seen a shell like this one before, and I keep clams so i was a little concenred.
