Some kind of snail...

This thing poked his head out yesterday and went away. Tonight he posed for a few pictures but he was way back so I couldn't get very detailed shots of him. Is he good or bad??

my first instinct was a snail that i cant rember its name but it has like a crescent shell on its back, unlike the traditional swirly snail shell. but it almost looks like a horseshoe crab. does it move slow like a snail? im still thinking its a snail but it almost looks like it has little legs and a tail in that pic. pretty sure its a snail tho. =]

Stomatella snail (sp?) Nothing to worry about. You will eventually see tons of them they just do their thing and eat algae and clean up the tank.
