Some type of worm?

I have a few a these things in my tank (one growing on my candy cane's stem). They are red color, one is light and one is real dark. They look like worms with a hard shell that grows in a spiral. I cant take a pic of it cuz it is to small for my camera. Any ideas or sights with pics i can use to identify?
