Something on my Zoa?

This Zoa is my first coral, so I may be worried about nothing. There is a branchy thing on the coral, looks more like its coming off the rock, but its close to the coral. I'm wondering what it might be?

The purple branchy thing is what I'm asking about. It doesn't move. Hasn't really grown from what I can tell.

What is it?
 
Not sure what it is (gorgonian skeleton maybe?), but it shouldn't be any issue for the zoa at all. I wouldn't worry a bit.

I am curious to see if someone can ID it though. Gorgeoues zoas btw! :)
 
I had some of those on my LR and my Naso tang mowed them down. I don't think they're harmful at all unless it starts to grow and bother the zoos.

+1, those Zoas are beautiful.
