Definitely an acropora. I had one like this I think the LFS said it was acropora digitata

Was a hardy acro and did well in my tank. First acro I bought and it had some zoas growing on it also

Yup high light and some nice baffled water flow. Mine did great but I recently traded it in for a Zoa colony and a blastomussa frag :)

Gret thanks for the info!! How long should i light acclimate him on the sand bed?

I would just give them a day then move them up and keep doing that one day at a time until they look the best. Make sure they don't start bleaching out though!

Hey dude is this how yours looked???? Does it look ok to you all? I hope its not bleaching... Its on the sand bed...

I don't think its bleaching
looks like all the crud from the tank it was in is blowing off
it prob was in a tank that had low maintenance
when I got mine it never looked good till I moved it away from the direct flow
it had brown stringy looking things on it
I keep mostly with my softies lol never had best luck with sps
but yours looks healthy but like I said I'm no expert with sps
