Adopted this guy a few months back, was very dark, almost brown when i got it in, has sence doubled in size.

Agreed. Notice the ends don't come to a point. Pocillopora or stylophora. But based on polyps i'd say pocillopora.

The Pocillopora Coral is an SPS coral that is also referred to as Bird's Nest, Lace, Cluster, or Brush Coral. They have a very fuzzy appearance, and are a very colorful addition to a reef aquarium. The Pocillopora is quite hardy for an SPS coral, and may grow rapidly. Provide enough space between this and other corals to allow for this growth. It requires a high light level combined with strong water movement, and good water quality.

Corals from the genus seriatopa are generally referred to as birdsnest.

Def a pocillopora. I have a couple of them and they are great. Really easy to keep IMO and look amazing with how fuzzy they are.
