Starfish??

Just brought home some live rock tonight and found this starfish. It seems to be pink with red spots and blue tips on the end of each leg. Will this harm my flame scallop? Please help identify.

It's a serpent star and should not bother the scallop really. If it does, the scallop has the ability to relocate on its own...
