Starfish identification

Hi I'm not sure if I've put this in the right place but I have a little starfish that has appeared in my tank it must of come out of the live rock can anyone tell me what type of starfish it is thanks andy.

That's a asterina star. Harmless but can become a nuisance when numbers grow.

They will yes. I had a bunch in my tank at one point but they usually get eaten. I've seen a tank with literally like 100! That's what I mean by nuisance. I wouldn't worry about it though. There pretty cool to look at.
