Tiny Star Fish

I have noticed several of these tiny (less than 1 cm) white starfish in my reef tank. I rarely, if ever, see them unless they are caught in my bristle worm trap. For now, I am assuming they are good for the sand bed and have been placing them back in the tank. I placed this one on the glass for the picture. I have never seen one climb on the glass by itself.

I would greatly appreciate any information anyone can share.

The ones I have are more stubby than skinny. Hmmm, I think EMS knows about starfish pretty well. We will see.
