type of montipora?

i got a very sad little piece of what i believe to be montipora. it was dieing off in the persons tank and he didnt think it would make it. so i asked for it and threw it in my tank. it appears to be growing. went from a brownish colour and is going a fairly vibrant green. it was very flat and dead looking when i got it and now it is very "bumpy" and appears to be growing. just looking for some opinions. thanks

In would agree that it is a monti. I have one that is orange and just like it. Nice pickup and for having the right conditions to save it and let it start to thrive.

What do you have for lights cause that monti looks really nice.

36 inch quad t5 unit. around 150 watts over a 30 gal tank.
