what the hell is this? i found it in a crab trap? its a crab of some sort.

Looks like it could be a sponge crab (Dromidiopsis dormia).

LOL! You beat me to it. Good thing, I was going to call it a coral crab (sponge never came to mind), but couldn't find one...maybe that's why!

it comes out of that sponge or whatevber it is but it like sleeps in there. its really weird.
