UURRGGHH - It's 18 inches long now - any ideas what it is?

Hi Everyone,

I've had this thing in my tank for a couple of weeks... it suddenly appeared coming out of a tiny hole in a piece of liverock that had been in my tank for a week or so...

It tends to come out when it's quiet (i.e. when the powerhead nearest to it is off), and when all the way out, it's about 18 inches long 8O

Any help identifying it would be greatly appreciated...
