Volcano looking white growths in fuge

What are these things.. they look like little white filamentos volcanos. they attach to the glass and pluming in the fuge.. there was 1 now about 5 in about 2-3 weeks.. any clues?? too small to pic..

Yep, totally harmless. Just be careful touching them - they have bristles sort of like glass splinters that can get imbedded under your skin. Harmless to the tank, though. ;-)
 
They don't exactly look like that.. see my galary for pics.. how do I post a pic in a message? I tried to copy and paste but no luck..
