Weird white slugs?

I was cleaning out my filter today and noticed so many of these weird slug things inside my filter. They’re not moving but they’re gross!They’re really freaking me out and I don’t know what they are !! Help!! IMG_0001.jpg
 
I can’t see what yo are trying to show here. Can you get a better picture?
And for the record, most things in our systems could be considered gross...



I can try when I get home, but they look like really over-soaked rice.
And that’s true LOL!
 
No problem with them.
Mixed reviews if they sponges take over [rare].
The pods are the best thing for marine tanks going .
 
+1 to what bandit said. Sponges are good filter feeders. They come and go based on nutrients available and pods are great microalgae eaters as well as natural fish food
 
Scrape them out they don’t harm anything but they spread any chance they get and are an eye sore
