Weird white slugs?

I was cleaning out my filter today and noticed so many of these weird slug things inside my filter. They’re not moving but they’re gross!They’re really freaking me out and I don’t know what they are !! Help!! Click image for larger version

I can’t see what yo are trying to show here. Can you get a better picture?
And for the record, most things in our systems could be considered gross...

No problem with them.
Mixed reviews if they sponges take over [rare].
The pods are the best thing for marine tanks going .

+1 to what bandit said. Sponges are good filter feeders. They come and go based on nutrients available and pods are great microalgae eaters as well as natural fish food
