I am starting to find these tube worm thingies here and there and cannot identify them. I am suspecting that it is due to one of these that all my ricordia abandoned their rock...but not sure.

All help identifying its type and tendencies is appreciated.

Can't tell by the pic but do they have a tube? Soft/calcerous or live in the rock itself?

Cheers
Steve

That seems to be the tube (calcerous) and the feelers come out now and then.

I think the type is serpula vermicularis a calcareous tube worm but without a better pic I cannot narrow it down. See if that name and a google search helps...

Cheers
Steve
