I have these round disks that get on the glass (see pic). They put out feelers and move around. they must be immature forms of something. I don't know whether to be happy about these interesting creatures or whether they are a scourge that will multiply and take over the tank. Does anyone know?

It looks like a snail of some sort. Does it have a shell? Can you explain a little more about it, as that pic is kind of dark.

It has a shell, but I don't think the shell is very hard. I felt it with my finger, but I was afraid to push very hard because it seemed like the shell might be crushed if I did. If you looked on a side view, the thickness would be seen to be very, very much less than the diameter. It's raised in the middle and tapers down to an edge at the perimeter.

looks like a stomenella varia reef safe and great janitor .

That sounds great! I Googled it and didn't find anything, but I tried Stomatella and found lots. Could that be what you mean?
