Three of them on my rock...they have a shell on the back. Are they juvenile snails?

Googled them and I would agree. I tossed them back in the tank.

OK, so to followup here, it looks like these buggers are breeding like bunnies (slow, slimy bunnies). Can they turn into a pest, or do they regulate their population naturally (ie, not enough food, high mortality rate, predation by other tank inhabitants, etc)? Will scraping them off the glass and allowing them to get tossed around the tank, and hopefully sucked into the skimmer, take care of them?

At first I thought the little white specs on my glass were calcification or some other buildup, until I saw the tiny little antennae and the fact that they were moving.

So long as they don't reach pest level, I'll leave them be.
