what coral is this?

I've done research and I think its a pineapple coral, but I'm not sure.

That's calaustrea, also known as trumpet coral also known as candy cane coral; it may go by some other names.
 
When you take it out of the tank make sure it is closed up before it is removed, I just shake mine back and forth in the water gently until it closes. I watched a frag demonstration and they said it was better because there is less flesh exposed to the air.
