what is growing on my pipe organ coral

It's a little sponge. Sometimes called a pineapple sponge. They're harmless filter feeders but their population can get a bit out of control. They can be removed by hand if you want some of them gone.

thanks for the info. Just making sure it's nothing bad. I haven't seen any more of these in my tank so I guess I'll let it be for now
 
Just keep an eye on them. They got all over the place, even in my sump and over flow box.

If there isn't much to filter from the water column they won't spread much. Totally harmless.

Too many DOC`s (Dissolved organic compounds). Nothing wrong with having them but feed less if you want fewer of them.
